You will also learn one complete routine where, with just one 18" silk and a gimmick containing some 12" silks, you end up with a bubbling fountain of color that seems to have.

    The Silk Fountain is a classic of magic and this set includes one of the best routines and needed silks to make the production a breeze. Effect: The magician displays a single silk and with the flick of the wrist, a second silk appears. The magician then snaps his fingers over the knot and it seems to melt away.

    Have the bundle of silks in any production box such as a Square Circle, or simply on the performing table behind a prop. Grasp the loop with your forefinger and turn the bundle around. The Silk Fountain will open slowly and the audience will absorb the beauty of the effect. When the final silk has opened, the spring flowers will now open.

    The magician displays an inch silk handkerchief, showing both hands empty. He places the silk over his left hand and when he whisks it away another silk has appeared! The magician then gently shakes his hand, causing more4/5(2).

    May 25,  · The various fountains I have or have seen have been set up like the one Jeff McBride demos on his video. They have been sewn in the middle of the stack with a few loops of sewing thread. I have one made by Abbott's which has a small (1" x 1") square of felt sewn to the bottom of the outside silk to prevent pull-through.

    This is a cassette of the vinyl record and is accompanied by a spiral bound page booklet with transcripts of the interviews. The booklet cover is approximately " wide and roughly " tall. The tape itself gives the title as "Interviews with 11 Artists". The booklet says "On Record: 11 Artists ".
